Jessica Roberts is teacher at a teacher powered school in Asheville, NC. She has been teaching elementary school for 17 years. Jessica believes in the power of teacher leadership. She has a passion for creating a culture in schools that fosters student learning, creativity and educator development. She is committed to creating a community of collective responsibility and collaboration in her classroom, school and community. She does this through building relationships and partnerships with policy makers, universities, administrators, teachers and students. She obtained her National Board Certification in 2011 and is graduating with a Masters of Arts in Teacher Leadership in 2018.
